Richter are delighted to announce, Gavin Dempsey (RHS of photo above), Director at 48.3 has successfully passed his Chartered Professional Review with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

When we caught up with Gavin, he told us, "I am proud to have achieved CEng MICE status, particularly within my field of expertise as very few who are dedicated to the scaffolding sector attain the highest grade of professional certification with the Institution of Civil Engineers. It is my wish to represent the scaffolding sector at this highest grade and to assist others within the business to achieve this standard within their professional careers. I feel it demonstrates to our clients that 48.3 are not just competent, but class leading. I am looking forward to raising the bar in this niche design market and continuing to offer more to clients in the field of access engineering and temporary scaffolding structures".

Ben Beaumont CEng MICE - Director said, "Our commitment to engineering standards is paramount. The company has a dedicated ICE approved training program and all of our staff are encouraged to strive for chartered qualification, for themselves and also for the company. My first passion is scaffolding design and it is great to see the professionalism taken seriously across our group. Something that wasn't around 11 years ago when I started 48.3 Scaffolding Design Limited. But we wont stop developing as a business, and with new technical skills now on offer to our clients we continue to lead the way with the procurement, design and safe use of scaffolding structures. Gavin's CEng MICE success shows we continue to develop at the top and not only with people commencing in the scaffolding sector".

From everyone at Richter and 48.3, congratulations Gavin.
