Richter would like to introduce Mark Davies CEng MICE as Director for the company’s Birmingham Office.

Mark joins us with a vast experience of knowledge in the design and construction of civil engineering projects across all sectors including rail, highways, tunnelling, commercial and service utilities. He will be leading the Birmingham design team to deliver a full range of both temporary works and permanent civil works design.

Roger Tice, Group Managing Director adds,

"It is great to be attracting industry talent to our organisation. Mark has a genuine passion for people and demonstratable experience in putting together high-performing operational teams through his leadership style, all working towards a common vision and goal - to deliver excellence and ensure the organisation continues to be agile and to engineer value with our clients, successfully. Richter has secured many high profile contracts in recent months, specifically the Silvertown Tunnel where undoubtedly Mark’s tunnelling and geotechnical expertise will bring enhanced knowledge and ability to this project. But Mark is no one-trick pony, he knows construction and his appointment will add confidence to our clients perception on the ability of Richter to deliver their projects".

Mark leverages significant commercial, operational, and project directorship (and recovery) expertise to create and realise commercial roadmaps, foster strong client relationships and drive the delivery of major civil and rail infrastructure engineering projects across the UK, with a focus on quality, sustainability and value for clients. He is the author of the Temporary Works Forum (TWf): Design of granular working platforms for construction plant: A guide to good practice, and active authoritative member of the Institution of Civil Engineers non for profit organisation.

Please join us in welcoming Mark and wishing him all the best in his new role, and may we encourage you to contact him to discuss how his team can best meet your project’s needs.
