As we enter a new year, we realise how fast time is flying and how much we have achieved. So much so, we celebrate that it has been six months since Richter opened its European office in Krakow, Poland. Lead by Director, Michal Wodynski CEng MIStructE who has 16 years of temporary works and structural engineering experience that has been gained across the UK and his native Poland, the team have had a very successful start.

Michal, supported by Senior Design Engineers, Maciej Adamczyk and Filip Trzeciak, opened the office in the historical pre-war umbrella factory building situated in the popular business location. Maciej and Filip have extensive knowledge and experience in the field of temporary works, geotechnics, and formwork design and have both joined the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) with the view to qualify for their Professional Review in Autumn 2022.

The team here have quickly established themselves, having already expanded and recruited talented graduates and engineers. With Maciej leading the temporary works team and all associated formworks being led by Filip, they are working on several bridge schemes preparing formwork, diaphragm, and reinforcement stability designs, with other project work including façade retention and stabilisation of masonry town buildings, to name a few.

Our office is Krakow is very much open for business. To all our current and new clients, please get in touch with Michal and the team in Poland should you require any temporary works, formwork or permanent design.
