Hiwa Hamid and Tom Hinchliff recognised for their contributions and achievements with Richter Group.

Our talented engineers, Tom Hinchliff and Hiwa Hamid, have just been promoted to new positions at Richter. Tom has been promoted from Graduate Design Engineer to Design Engineer, while Hiwa has gone from Senior Chartered Engineer to Principal Engineer, both are based in the Huddersfield office.
We couldn't be prouder of Hiwa, who achieved chartership during his time at Richter and is now taking the next step in his professional development as a Principal Engineer. When we caught up with him, he shared his excitement, saying, "Becoming a Principal Engineer is a significant step toward professional advancement. The support from the Richter team has allowed this to be possible and progress to be made. I look forward to the opportunity and continuing work with the team to add value and deliver engineering projects."
Tom, who joined us in July 2021, has been working tirelessly on various projects and has now earned a well-deserved promotion. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I'm thrilled to receive recognition for the hard work I've put in since joining Richter. Taking on a more senior role will allow me to lead in the production of temporary works designs for larger and more complex projects. I'll continue to work on my development and support those around me to help Richter generate quality temporary works solutions for our clients. It's been a pleasure working with the team so far, and I'm excited to see what the future holds."
Our Director of the Huddersfield office, Colin Harwood, couldn't be more proud of Hiwa and Tom, stating, "Their hard work, dedication, and passion for engineering have not gone unnoticed.
